yes and no in my opinion as long as the general message is still there it's fine it's more important for it to make sense in the translated language than for the exact meaning to be kept thou if both are possible that'd be for the best but that's rarely the case

Korean novel are almost like this you can't understand their way of talking like taking tsuk tamang f#ck. Even solo leveling are like this. Those authors hard as f#ck trying too make their conversation as poem. No hard feelings but that is my f#cking opinion. When I read korean novels it's hard to f#cking understand their conversation.
