Chapter 338-My Lies Have Been Exposed
Chapter 338-My Lies Have Been Exposed
Lara:
She slammed the fork on the table and stepped between us.
"Stay fucking away from my husband."
As she yelled at me, I felt my pride breaking.
I looked at Kash for help, but he did not seem to care.
He stood there callously, looking cold.
"You’re not going to tell her to behave with me?" I asked Kash, tearing up.
But in return, he just rolled his eyes.
"I am giving you a child."
As soon as I said that, Kash started to chuckle.
Then he stepped forward and stood behind Iris, placing his hand on her stomach, and I already knew what was happening.
"No, she is the one giving me a child."
Those words hit me hard.
I shook my head and grabbed the table for support.
"No, no, no. That cannot be. She cannot be pregnant," I began saying, shaking my head in confusion as my entire world shattered.
"That is the truth," Kash said, "and she is the only one I want to have a child with."
As he continued speaking, I began shaking my head even harder.
"What about me and my child?" I begged.
But he was so cold toward me that I had to turn and look at Lady Vivian and Zoe.
"Zoe, please. Lady Vivian, tell your son not to do this to me. Please." I begged before these cold people.
"I will honestly become the best mate, the best daughter-in-law."
I started begging the two of them, but they began to laugh at me.
They were so cruel.
A pregnant woman was crying in front of them, and they had nothing to do but laugh.
"Weren’t you the one who attacked me?" Lady Vivian said bitterly.
That made me realize how little anything meant to them.
For them, their own satisfaction was everything.
Their ego was bigger than anything, even the cries of a helpless woman.
"It was a mistake. I got carried away. This time I promise I will do better."
I rushed toward the table to beg Lady Vivian when she suddenly slammed her hand on it.
"Get this filthy woman away from me. I do not know her. I only know Iris as my daughter-in-law, the pure one, the one who is better than her in every aspect."
Lady Vivian’s words cut straight through me as she openly chose Iris over me.
And honestly, it was my fault.
I had celebrated too soon, while all along they had been playing me.
They knew everything and still let me believe I had won.
"But what about my child?" I asked Lady Vivian.
She dismissed me with a wave of her hand and sat back down at the table, calmly watching me cry in front of them.
"Kash, you cannot do this to me," I said, turning to him.
He straightened his spine and glared at me.
"I, Alpha King Kash, reject you as my mate."
Those words struck me like a blow.
I shook my head, refusing to accept the rejection.
"It does not matter whether you accept it or not, Lara. I am an Alpha King. I have already cut the ties from my side. You may go to hell for all I care," he said coldly.
When I tried to reach for his hand, Iris stepped between us and slapped me so hard that my dignity turned to dust.
"I am carrying a child. She is hitting the mother of your child," I cried, looking at Kash.
But he only shook his head.
Then he walked toward me calmly.
"No. Iris is the only one who will give birth to my child. You?" He paused, and my heart began pounding louder in my chest. "You are a bitch. You got yourself pregnant by someone else because that night you could not do it with me."
My feet turned cold.
"I do not know what you are talking about," I tried to lie.
Kash laughed, and the sound made it clear he was not bluffing.
"That night, when you came to me, I did not do anything with you, did I?" he asked with a smile. "I remember that night now. It took me a little time, but I remember it. When I saw Iris in you, we did start intimacy before I stopped you. You were furious when I passed out, and the crazy thing is that you forgot there were cameras in the lobby."
He continued speaking while I wrapped my arms around myself, feeling exposed in front of everyone.
"You walked out and pointed at one of the warriors from your own pack, your loyal servant. You went into a room with him and slept with him because you wanted to conceive that night. Then you slipped back just before Iris arrived. What did you think would happen, huh? That we would never find out? I was just letting you pile up your crimes, and now it seems like the time has come for you to get what you deserve. The right kind of punishment."
He looked at me with complete disgust.
"And I will not stop there. I will get a DNA test, and that result will be displayed everywhere so every pack member finds out that an Alpha’s daughter did such a deed."
Kash looked at me with nothing but anger and hatred in his eyes.
I was honestly shocked.
All this time I had believed he loved me at least a little, but the way he spoke about me and the way he scrunched his nose at my presence made me realize how wrong I had been.
It was too late.
Now I would be humiliated in public.
Was that not what I had wanted for Iris?
How did it come back to me?
I brought my hands together in front of Kash, crying.
"That is not true. This is your child," I said, lying because I had nothing else left.
He grabbed my arm and shoved me forward.
"Mother, throw her out," Kash ordered.
His mother stood up immediately, Zoe rising with her.
They grabbed both my arms and dragged me out of the mansion in the most humiliating way possible.
No matter how many times I cried and begged them to stop, they did not stop until they threw me out of the mansion, just like Iris had once been thrown out.
Once I landed outside the door and it locked behind me, I began to cry hysterically.
I banged on the door like a madwoman.
"Please open it for me, please," I pleaded, pounding on the door.
I kept crying and crying.
One thing still did not make sense to me.
How had they found out, and how the hell did Iris record everything?
All this time I had been thinking that I was winning.
In fact, Iris already knew every single one of my plans.
She must have been laughing to herself whenever I thought my plan was working.
The worst part was Kash.
Kash, who never played games with anyone, played one with me only because Iris asked him to and he wanted to make her happy.
Otherwise they could have caught me directly.
They could have shown that video and imprisoned me.
Instead, they played all these games just to humiliate me and laugh at me.
My heart felt as if it had been shredded to pieces.
I had never felt humiliation like this before.
Then I remembered how Iris had slapped me.
It was wrong.
I did not deserve any of this.
Yes, I had issued some challenges and played some games, but that did not mean I was a bad person.
I did all of this for Kash.
How could he forget everything?
He had pretended as if none of it mattered to him.
Then he wrapped his arms around Iris and stood so close to her right in front of me.
My hands went to my hair.
I began pulling at it as I cried loudly.
I could not understand anything anymore.
Just seconds ago I had everything, and now everything had been brutally taken from me.
Iris had done all of this.
That smile on her face, that cocky grin, I could still see it.
The anger made me feel as if my blood pressure would shoot through the roof.
But what could I even do now?
They had thrown me outside and kicked me out of the house.
And Lady Vivian must have been happy too.
She must have been pleased because, finally, she had won.
There was nothing left.
I begged for an hour straight.
Every passerby looked at me and pointed. They whispered to each other.
"Look, that is Luna. Why is she outside? Did Kash kick her out?"
After some time, I saw the door open again.
I was about to rush inside when the warrior gestured for me to step back.
That was when Iris arrived with my bags.
Kash stood right behind her, making sure I did not say anything hurtful to his perfect Luna.
