Chapter 716: System
Chapter 716: System
Her breathing nearly stopped for a second. Still, she hurriedly nodded respectfully.
She clearly understood one thing.
Right now, she could not afford to betray Rayami.
At the very least, she absolutely could not reveal her ambitions yet.
However... deep within her heart, greed was already growing uncontrollably.
Once she successfully acquired Ivy’s body, everything would change.
Soon afterward, the connection was completely severed.
A strange smile slowly appeared across Tammy’s face.
Initially, Tammy had believed that conquering Earth would merely give her enough influence to slightly contend against Princess Rayami in the future.
But now... everything was different.
After personally witnessing Ivy’s monstrous talent, Tammy fully understood just how valuable Ivy’s body truly was.
It was the kind of body every superior being would desperately fight to obtain.
The thought alone filled Tammy with excitement.
After all... once she occupied Ivy’s body... she would not only rule Earth.
She would one day stand above even the superior beings themselves.
A strange glint flashed through her eyes.
Meanwhile, not long afterward, Tammy called for a meeting.
Once everyone gathered together, Jerry was the first to speak impatiently.
"So what should we do now? If Silas successfully escapes, he’ll definitely expose our existence. And once humanity learns exactly how many of us are hiding on this planet, things will become troublesome."
Tammy, however, showed no concern whatsoever.
Her expression remained calm as she replied,
"He’ll most likely die anyway."
The moment those words left her mouth, everyone’s eyes flashed with realization.
Even though Silas himself was technically a hybrid, injuries caused by superior beings required healing from someone possessing similar energy.
And after investigating everyone within Ivy’s group, they had already confirmed something important.
None of them possessed healing abilities. Silas himself did have healing powers.
Unfortunately, he was currently unconscious.
If that was the case... who exactly could save him?
The realization immediately caused smiles to appear on several faces.
Among everyone present, Nanami looked especially pleased.
Meanwhile, Jerry excitedly grinned before speaking,
"If that’s true, then once his condition worsens enough, we can just infiltrate under disguises and destroy his body completely."
"Even if it takes effort, once we secure his corpse, we’ll be able to leave quietly afterward."
However, Tammy immediately shook her head. Princess Rayami had already provided her with a far superior plan.
A faint smile slowly appeared on her lips as she calmly said,
"Rather than waiting for him to die... We should use this opportunity to lure out every single hybrid hiding around Ivy."
Hearing those words, everyone in the room immediately turned toward Tammy.
A strange silence filled the atmosphere.
Tammy slowly crossed her arms before calmly speaking,
"Why don’t we make a deal with Ivy?"
Her lips curled slightly upward.
"As long as she agrees to hand over Moona, Maxi, and Bella to us... we will cure Silas."
The moment those words were spoken, Coco immediately chuckled.
She understood Tammy’s intentions almost instantly.
There was indeed no healer among them. However, that did not mean they could not bluff.
As long as the lie was convincing enough, they could manipulate Ivy completely.
Not only would they be able to ensure Silas’s death from the inside, but they could also gain control over Moona, Maxi, and Bella at the same time.
Once those three were taken away, only Ivy and Jade would remain.
At that point, overwhelming them through sheer numbers would become incredibly easy.
As Tammy continued explaining the plan, everyone gradually began looking at her differently.
Even Nanami’s eyes flickered slightly with interest.
Meanwhile, Tammy continued speaking in a colder tone.
"There is another matter."
Her expression slowly became serious.
"Princess Catalina has already started moving."
Everyone’s expressions changed instantly.
Tammy narrowed her eyes slightly before continuing,
"She has partnered with Princess Rayami and already begun mobilizing forces toward Earth. Now that we’ve dealt with the immediate threat, we need to accelerate our plans here as well."
The moment those words were spoken, everyone immediately understood what she meant.
It was finally time. The time to start turning humans into puppets.
Tammy then looked toward Haku and Coco.
"You two will be responsible for infiltrating human society and beginning the puppet operations."
Both of them nodded calmly.
After assigning them their tasks, Tammy shifted her gaze toward Jerry.
She thought silently for a few moments before speaking again. "You’ll accompany them."
Jerry grinned immediately. "Finally, something entertaining."
Once nearly half the group received their assignments, Tammy finally turned toward Nanami.
"I need to discuss something privately with you."
Nanami silently stared at her for a moment before nodding.
Soon afterward, the two of them moved away from the others until they were completely alone.
Tammy slowly looked toward Nanami before speaking directly.
"Tell me what you’re actually planning."
Nanami’s expression remained calm and unreadable.
"What could I possibly be planning? I’m simply following orders. Isn’t that obvious?"
Tammy chuckled softly. "You and I both know that’s not true."
Her sharp eyes narrowed slightly. "Don’t you already have your own ambitions too?"
Tammy’s words caused Nanami’s eyes to flicker briefly.
Then, unexpectedly, he chuckled lightly.
"As I’ve already told you before, Tammy... my plans belong to me. I don’t enjoy other people interfering."
Tammy’s smile deepened slightly.
"What if I told you that the idea of turning humans into puppets was entirely my decision? Princess Rayami doesn’t even know about this part."
The moment those words left her mouth, Nanami’s expression finally shifted slightly.
For the first time, genuine interest appeared in his eyes.
Then he slowly smiled. "Sometimes I honestly believe you should have been born as true royalty."
Tammy emphasized mockingly, "The illegitimate kind of royalty."
Nanami burst into laughter. "Well, illegitimate or not... blood is still blood."
His smile slowly turned colder afterward.
"How about this? I’ll take Silas’s body. You take Ivy’s."
Then his eyes darkened dangerously.
"I’ll enslave Ivy’s soul. And you’ll enslave Silas’s."
Hearing those words, Tammy finally smiled genuinely.
"I really do enjoy speaking with intelligent people."
The truth was simple.
Tammy had deliberately approached Nanami because she clearly understood something terrifying.
Out of everyone present, Nanami was the only person strong enough to threaten her.
